**TRANSCENDENTAL Campaign Update** This undertaking turns out to be more expensive than imagined - over $25,000 to level the ground, lay sod over the main Parade Ground, and plant grass seed in less critical areas. We will need to care for the new installation diligently over the coming weeks to assure this effort is successful. Please support restoration in the service of future TRANSCENDENTAL experiences!**

Fort Mifflin loves TRANSCENDING with you at Making TIme, an event that brings so many new people to the site harnessing the unique beauty and spirit of the fort in the most creative way. Unfortunately the heavy foot traffic, weather and tidal flooding conspired to leave Fort Mifflin living up to its location on Mud Island quite literally after the event this year. Substantial remediation to the grounds is required as we head into the haunting season, our busiest time of the year.
